Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the “working-interface concept” to determine
whether a high risk work environment can influence general labour relations between
employees and the employer. “Occupational Risk” was examined for this purpose to
determine how an unfit workplace can influence employee productivity and work
performance, as part of the employee’s right to a safe -, healthy -, and workable workplace. The relationship between man, machine and environment was investigated to understand how manufacturing and material handling; ergonomics and human resource management interlink.
